Sienna is officially OFA BS-12280E25F-PI Excellent . This is Exciting to me because she comes from a long line of Excellent Hips.

Sire: FTCH/CH.

Kinwashkly Mac Magoo FDJ - OFA Excellent

Ch. Kinwashkly Red Apache OFA Good

Ch. Kinwashkly Katydid It  OFA Good

Dam:

Ch.Jayhawker Priddy Kiddy Rosalie - OFA Excellent

Albritt's Wild Kid The Outlaw - OFA Excellent

Jayhawker's Kiddy Hawk FDJ - OFA Excellent

Kiddy Hawk's Dad I'm told is OFA Excellent even though it is not shown on OFA as that because it was before they posted any rating but only told the owners. ( NAFC/DC Renegade"s Kansas Kid ) x Kiddy's Mom Jayma is OFA Good

So I hope Sienna will continue to carry on the Excellent Hips to her future pups. She is also CERF Certified.

This to me looks like if you keep Breeding OFA Excellent hips you will increase your chances of better and better hips. Some say if you breed OFA Excellent to OFA Excellent you can still get a Dysplastic pup. This may be true because what is the OFA Back ground of those OFA Excellent pair ?? That might be the key. So Far I have not had a Dysplastic pup or even a OFA Fair. True not all of my pups are OFA'd because the owners choose not too. But I have not heard of bad hips from my owners and I should because I guarantee them. I choose to only breed OFA Good or Excellent and never Fair. This is only my choice and I'm not knocking anyone that has bred a Fair. I just feel personally that Breeding Good or Excellent with the least amount of Fairs to none in the Background is the way I choose to go. So far it is paying off. I will always have the fear of Dysplasia cropping up one day and that is one more reason to keep trying to breed for better and better hips. Just my thoughts.
